Last year our school, La Costa Meadows Elementary started a program for running. One of the teachers, Ms. Michielssen started it. The running program is held on Wednesday’s and Friday’s at 8:15am. Every four laps you run, it counts as a mile. Every five miles you complete, you get a prize. Steven Gregory came to our school today and awarded the top 20 runners in our school. First and second grade students will have lunch with Steven Gregory and third, fourth and fifth graders will get to attend the Chargers vs. Redskins football game. Thank you so much for coming to our school.
